New Sunday Morning Classes Begin This Sunday

After a month long break during late summer, we are ready to begin our next scheduled classes for adults and high school students. There are a variety of classes to be taken. See the class times & dates, descriptions, scheduled teachers and room assignments below.

9:00 a.m. | September 11 - October 16

Longing For The King: God has been King over His kingdom from eternity past, whether in heaven or on earth. Yet His creatures have rebelled against Him. God promises to reestablish His kingdom through King Jesus, who will undo the curse that came as a result of sin.
Taught by John Richmann & Tim Holloway in Room 305.

9:00 a.m. | October 23 – November 27

Kingdom Come: God promises a coming King, Jesus Christ, who will shepherd His people and deliver them. This class focuses on the unique kingdom of Jesus that is displayed in weakness and shines in opposition, as we look ahead to the coming kingdom, its uniqueness, and how the present kingdom looks forward to its perfection.

10:45 a.m. | September 11 – October 16

The Church: Saved, United, Empowered: What is the Church? We are not simply individuals, we are the body of Christ - God’s temple, united in truth and given the mission of making disciples. We are crucified people dead to sin and a resurrected people alive for righteousness.

10:45 a.m. | October 23 – November 27

The Mission: Making Disciples: As the church of Jesus Christ, we are a people on a mission. We are those who serve others, enjoy fellowship, and seek to go into all the world to make disciples. Jesus was sent by His Father to seek and save the lost. Now Jesus sends us in the power of the Spirit to proclaim Jesus so the lost may be found. This is an intentional journey into the church’s mission of disciple-making.
